‘Fair’ GNPF and ACTA Thank The Judges

JAKARTA (Jurnalislam.com) – The National Movement of Fatwa Guards (GNPF) MU and Advocates of the Homeland (ACTA) thanked the panel of judges who sentenced the defendant Basuki Tjahaja Purnama ( alias Ahok) to 2 years imprisonmen. ACTA Chairman Krist Ibnu assessed that the judges had been fai with the verdict.

“We from the Advocate of GNPF-MUI and ACTA expressed their gratitude to the judges who were more afraid of Allah SWT, so finally gave a fair verdict,” said Ibnu when confirmed on Tuesday (9/5/2017).

According to him, the judge’s verdict indicates that the judge is not afraid of certain parties who have been protecting Ahok for his act of defaming religion. Therefore, his side also prayed that the judges would be rewarded.

“we pray for the judge to get a reward,” he said.

He said his side did not question the judge who only punish Ahok two years in prison because the punishment already represents the sense of community justice and based on the facts of the trial.

Moreover, the judge has ordered Ahok to be arrested for his actions. Nevertheless, it still urges the government to remove Ahok from his position as Governor of Jakarta.

“Now, according to the law ,the President must give orders for Ahok to be releived of his post as Governor of DKI Jakarta and Vice Governor must be propoted to replace the position untill there is a new govener, “he said.
