The Police Demand People to Accept Lawsuit on Ahok Gracefully

PANGKALPINANG (Jurnalislam.com) – Reported by many media, Head of Public Relations Polda Metro Jaya Pol Kombes Argo Yuwono asked all parties related accept alleged cases of blasphemy Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok.

The request of Kombes Pol Argo Yuwono was received by various parties including Deputy Secretary of Nahdlatul Ulama Counsel and Legal Aid Institute (LPBH NU) Djoko Edhi Abdurrahman who insisted that the violation of injustice was a resistance and not accept.

In line with LPBH PBNU, social observer of Bangka Belitung (Babel) Ahmad Sofyan said that people can not accept against injustice because it will eliminate the trust in law enforcement in Indonesia.

“If this is allowed, silenced, accepted , then the law is getting away from the sense of justice, the people are increasingly distrustful to law especially the law enforcement,” Ahmad told Jurniscom on Tuesday (25/4/2017).

The law, according to Ahmad Sofyan seemed to be blunt on Ahok. According to him, the blade of law is increasingly appears dull in the eyes of society and not sharp.

He called on the authorities to be fair by upholding the law, instead of issuing controversial statements such as asking that the public accept.

“Law officers do not talk gracefully, because the people are not stupid and can’t be fooled again. Come on, justice is not just talked about, but enforced! “He concluded.
